And how can public administration and civil society benefit from them? We invite you to an online event as part of the Digitaltag to discuss these questions together. What to expect: |
Experience feedback of Susanne Lambert, Community Advisor, about the co-creation process in the Partizipation Digital project. An opportunity to explore practical participatory methods for developing digital solutions. And even some cats! |
What? Partizipation Digital is a partnership project between Minor – Project Office for Education and Research and the Office of the Commissioner of the Berlin Senate for Participation, Integration and Migration. Together, we are developing a Digital Welcome Center for Berlin to complement the existing (analogue) Welcome Center: an information, orientation and reference platform designed to make it as easy as possible for new Berliners to get started in Berlin. The Digital Welcome Center should contain all relevant information for this target group and also facilitate access to digital services. Why? Access to reliable information and services is particularly important for newcomers from abroad when arriving and finding their way around Berlin. The digital space is central to this: New immigrants use digital, especially social media, as their first source of information – significantly more than the existing analogue information and advice services. How? We work with a participatory approach in the project. Our Community Advisory Panel, a group of almost 20 new immigrants, closely accompanies and advises us in the conception and development of the Digital Welcome Center. In this way, we ensure that the Digital Welcome Center meets their actual needs.Who? In addition to the project partners Minor and the Office of the Commissioner of the Berlin Senate for Participation, Integration and Migration, many partners from civil society, business and administration are involved in the project so that all important stakeholders can contribute to the development of the Digital Welcome Center. The Partizipation Digital project is funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. |
