Comunitatea română “Sfântul Ștefan cel Mare” din Atena a încheiat proiectul “Orizonturi românești” cu un eveniment de prezentare a cărții rezultate din demersul românilor de pretutindeni, volum care a fost finanțat de către Departamentul Românilor de Pretutindeni.
Cu acest prilej Sâmbătă, 19/10/2024 au fost invitați în saloanele Ambasadei României din Atena președinții celorlalte asociații românești, membri marcanți ai comunității, colaboratori, prieteni, membri ai asociației, români și greci, foști președinți, familii mixte.
La eveniment au luat parte ca invitați de onoare: Mioara Pituț, ministru-consilier, însărcinat cu afaceri a.i al României în Grecia, Excelența Sa, Ambasadorul Plenipotențiar al Republicii Moldova în Republica Elenă, domnul Andrei Popov, senatorul Mihai Dohotar, membru al Comisiei de Cultură a Senatului României și al Comisiei pentru Românii de Pretutindeni din Senat și binecunoscuta actriță Vasia Trifilli. Traducerea a fost asigurată de distinsa doamană Adriana Roșca.
Manifestarea culturală a debutat cu un moment artistic, al cărui protagonist a fost Vasilios Konstantinos Melinte, care la doar 5 ani a reușit să impresioneze audiența recitând în totalitate emblematica poezie a lui Mihai Eminescu “Ce-ți doresc eu ție, dulce Românie.” Absolut simbolic a fost prezentată cartea “Orizonturi românești”, asta exact pentru a lăsa pe cei din sală să se delecteze cu lectura în propriile fotolii și în liniștea de acasă, pentru că fiecare participant a primit cadou un volum. Au fost înmânate diplome de excelență personalităților prezente în sală și serata s-a încheiat cu o valoroasă expoziție de pictură, pentru că o asociație cu vechimea de peste 31 de ani onorează cultura și românismul, premiază talentul și unicitatea românească prin membrii săi de excepție: Ioana Ilie și Georgiana Dumitru.
Acest festin cultural românesc a fost bine primit de către toți iubitorii de frumos și mediatizat atât în mass-media de limbă română, cât și în presa elenă.
