Cele mai noi producții românești vor putea fi văzute în cadrul Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest, înainte de lansarea oficială în cinematografe.Reunite în secțiunea Avanpremierele Toamnei, aceste filme intră în cursa pentru Premiul Publicului, oferit prin amabilitatea Dacin Sara.
Anul acesta, Secțiunea Avanpremierele Toamnei, cuprinde un eveniment special, gândit în jurul mediumetrajului „Index”în regia lui Radu Muntean: Într-o pădure neliniștitor de frumoasă, un ornitolog (Adrian Văncică) descoperă, printr-o cameră de supraveghere cu infraroșu, o creatură sălbatică (Alexandru Bumbariuc). „Index” este scris și regizat de Radu Muntean și proiectat în premieră mondială în august la Festivalul Internațional de Film de la Locarno.
Radu Muntean va fi prezent alături de echipa filmului la o discuție amplă cu publicul, moderată de Roxana Călinescu și Andrei Tănăsescu, în cadrul seriei „Let’s Talk About…Film”, un eveniment organizat în parteneriat cu Institutul Cultural Român.
Întâlnirea cu publicul interesat va avea loc joi, 30 octombrie 2025, ora 20.30, la Cinema Muzeul Țăranului Român.
Programul complet al secțiunii Avanpremierele Toamnei va fi disponibil pe filmeledefestival.ro, iar biletele vor fi puse în vânzare în curând pe platforma eventbook.ro.
De asemenea, ediția cu numărul 16 din 2025 a Festivalului Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest are în program și noul film al lui Radu Jude, „Dracula”, „Sorella di Clausura”, în regia Ivanei Mladenovic, pentru care Katia Pascariu a primit Premiul criticilor independenți pentru cea mai bună actriță la Locarno, iar regizoarea Ivana Mladenovic, Premiul pentru cel mai bun regizor la Festivalul de la Sarajevo. Programul este completat de „Nu mă lăsa să mor”, regizat de Andrei Epure, cu premiera în cadrul Festivalului de Film de la Locarno; „Interior Zero”, semnat de Eugen Jebeleanu, este o ecranizare a romanului omonim al Laviniei Braniște. Cu premiera mondială la Festivalul Internațional de Film de la Vilnius, filmul a fost selectat în categoria Smart7, un program dedicat regizorilor emergenți din șapte țări europene; „Still Nia”, regizat de Paula Oneț și prezentat în secțiunea de work-in-progress în cadrul One World Romania, filmul a fost selectat și la Sarajevo Film Festival în 2024; „Comatogen”, semnat de Igor Cobileanski, prezentat în cadrul secțiunii Zilele Filmului Românesc la Festivalul Internațional de Film Transilvania în 2025. Selecția de filme în avanpremieră este completată de scurtmetraje românești, aflate în afara competiției, câteva titluri fiind prezentate la Cannes, în secțiunile Semaine de la Critique și Cinéfondation: „Mama!” regizat de Teodor Ioniță, din selecția oficială a Festivalului Premiers Plans, „Un cuplu triasic”, de Iulia Turicianu, prezent la Festivalul Internațional de Film de Animație de la Annecy și la Shanghai International Film Festival, „Marinică, băiatul meu” de Mihnea Toma, proiectat la DocLisboa, „Alișveriș” de Vasile Tondincă, proiectat la Cannes în secțiunea Semaine de la Critique, „Our Sea”, de Alle Dicu și „We Lived Slowly in Time of Peace”, regizat de Kristina Jacot. O altă serie de scurtmetraje cuprinde „Eurogenesis”, proiectat și el la Cannes în cadrul Semaine de la Critique și câștigator la BIEFF al Premiului pentru cel mai bun film din compețiția națională, „Weaving Anni Albers” de Alessandro del Vigna, „Fursecuri și lapte”, regizat de Andrei Tache Codreanu, prezentat în secțiunea Cinéfondacion de la Cannes, „Kobza”, de Laura Pop, „Pensule și ambalaje” de Adrian Latu și „Du-mă la apă”, regizat de Teona Galgoțiu. La finalul fiecărei serii de scurtmetraje, publicul va întâlni cu echipele filmelor pentru discuții.
Festivalul Les Films de Cannes à Bucarest este fondat în 2010 de regizorul Cristian Mungiu, cu sprijinul delegatului general al Festivalului de Film de la Cannes, Thierry Fremaux și este organizat de către Cinemascop și Voodoo Films.
