În 24 octombrie 2024, în cea de-a doua zi a Festivalului Internațional “Sabin Pautza”, la Biblioteca Județeană ”Paul Iorgovici” din Reșița, și-au dat întâlnire umorul, respectiv, starea de bine, elevii și profesorii de la mai multe școli din municipiu. Întâlnirea l-a avut ca invitat pe maestrul Sabin Pautza, care a venit aici, pentru a le vorbi elevilor despre cele 2 cărți de glume pe care le-a lansat în ultimii ani spre bucuria celor care iubesc bancurile și știu să râdă, atunci când le ascultă. La această manifestare inedită, în care o personalitate din lumea muzicii vine să spună bancuri, au venit cu drag elevii de la Colegiul “Banatului Montan” din Reșița, însoțiți de profesorii Valentina Mihuț și Petrișor Petru, dar și elevii de la școala care îi poartă numele acestei personalități culturale, respectiv Liceul de Arte “Sabin Pautza”. De la școală maestrului au venit elevii din clasa a XII-a, însoțiți de profesorul Adrian Garoiu.
Pentru început Camelia Duca de la Societatea pentru Cultură „Metarsis” a vorbit elevilor despre compozitorul și dirijorul Sabin Pautza, muzicianul cu un fin simț al umorului, care spune“că românii aparțin singurului popor din lume care cu ajutorul umorului au reușit să depășească greutățile din viață și care știu ca nimeni alții să găsească în orice lucru un motiv de-a râde ”.
Cele două cărți prezentate de Clara Maria Constantin, managerul bibliotecii județene, sunt : “Carnaval fără măști, hai să (ne) râdem “ semnată de Sabin Pautza și “De la români adunate ( și nu numai) și-napoi la români date” carte semnată de doi muzicieni Florian LUNGU și Sabin Pautza, cărora le place să râdă, dar mai ales să-i binedispună pe ceilalți. Ambele cărți au apărut la editura „Palimpsest”, din București.
Elevii prezenți au primit, la finalul întâlnirii, cărți și autografe de la maestrul Sabin Pautza.
