La ce te gândești prima oară când auzi sau citești cuvântul “Bucovina”? Poate la Munții Raraului, perla naturii pe care Dumnezeu a asezat-o cu grija in inima acestui loc sacru. Poate la artiștii de muzică populară precum Viorica Macovei, Angelica Flutur sau Sofia Vicoveanca, glasuri binecuvântate de bunul Dumnezeu ce ne bucură inimile și ne îmbrățișează sufletele cu piesele lor. Sau poate la horele jucate cu atât de multă bucurie. Sau la mănăstiri, sfinte lăcașuri de taină în care cerul se unește cu pământul și unde rugăciunile oamenilor sunt ascultate. Poate la Muzeul Satului Bucovinean, pe aleile căruia descoperi secretele satului autentic? Sau Muzeul Oului de la Vama, acolo unde doamna Letiția Orșivschi Heiser a creat un loc impresionant în care vizitatorii pot afla informații despre fascinantul drum al oului. Să mai amintesc de delicioasele bucate tradiționale gătite cu atât de mult drag? Aceasta e Bucovina cu ale ei comori.
Înainte de a începe în urmă cu doi ani proiectul “Bucovina.Întoarcerea acasă”, nu știam foarte multe lucruri despre vatra satului. Ce obiceiuri se țin, de ce, care sunt diferențele de port de la zona de câmpie la cea de munte, samd. Cu toate astea, parcă ceva mă atrăgea spre această zonă și tare mult m-am bucurat că mi-am dat voie să călătoresc și să descopăr, dar mai ales, să le ofer celor ce mă citesc o altfel de imagine a Bucovinei, văzută prin ochii mei. Trăită și simțită.
Pentru mine, satul e o poveste fascinantă a căror pagini sunt scrise cu condeiul fanteziei. Al rugăciunii și al credințelor despre lume. Al cântecului și al dorului. Al meșteșugurilor. Al simfoniei naturii. Satul e o chemare pe care dacă o vei auzi și îi vei răspunde, ai să pășești într-o altfel de lume. Pierdută și regăsită.
