Sala ”Nichita Stănescu”, aflată în incinta Bibliotecii județene ”Nicolae Iorga”, a fost gazda unui nou eveniment editorial: lansarea cărții EVA-Blândețuri, Tandrețuri, Amărăciuni.
Invitații de onoare ai evenimentului au fost: profesor și scriitor Ramona Muler, profesor și scriitor Cristian Crăciun, jurnalist și scriitor Gh.Burdujan, precum și subsemnatul.
Autoarea cărții, ing. Doina Ofelia Davidescu, s-a născut la Ploiești la 9 octombrie 1957. Acum, deși are statut de… pensionară, este foarte activă în viața culturală a municipiului. Ultima sa ieșire în public a avut loc, acum câteva zile, așa cum am menționat mai sus, la Biblioteca ”Nicolae Iorga” Ploiești, unde și-a lansat cartea, în prezența unui public numeros.
Deși pare un om obișnuit, nu este deloc așa. Iată, pe scurt, povestea vieții sale:
Am absolvit Liceul I.L. Caragiale, profilul uman, în anul 1976. Am ratat a doua sub linie, admiterea la Filologie. Apoi, m-am răzgândit și am urmat Institutul de Petrol-Gaze, pe care l-am absolvit în anul 1984. Profesia de inginer în tehnologia prelucrării petrolului și activitatea îndelungată în acest domeniu la Combinatul Petrochimic Midia, Năvodari, IPIP Ploiești ș.a. nu m-au împiedicat să fiu o mare iubitoare de citit și… amatoare de scris, deși timpul pe care îl aveam la dispoziție pentru așa ceva a fost destul de restrâns.
În ultimii ani de activitate am fost consilier la Casa de Cultură a Studenților din Ploiești. Așa că am scris, mai bine de 50 de ani, teme, extemporale, teze, proiecte, studii ș.a.
În perioada 2019-2021, am avut bucuria să particip, ca autor de texte, în urma unor concursuri, la ultimele trei din cele cinci volume colective ale colecției ”Memento”, proiect inițiat și derulat de Asociația de Educație și Dezvoltare Urbană, acesta având ca scop rememorarea unui oraș, a unor întâmplări și a unor personaje, prin prisma amintirilor unora dintre cei care l-au locuit o vreme. Iată doar câteva: *Cel mai frumos Ploiești- AEDU 2019* Ploieștiul amintirilor noastre- AEDU 2020 *Automobile, dulcețuri și alte povestiri despre Ploiești – AEDU 2021.
În ultima vreme, particip cu interes și mare bucurie la ședințele Cenaclului I.L. Caragiale Ploiești, sub coordonarea Asociației ”24PHArte”.
Să mai amintesc că în aprilie 2023 a apărut volumul online ”Ploieștiul nostru. Amintiri dragi și povești nostime”, printre ai cărei autori mă numar și eu. De asemenea, am bucuria de a mi se fi selectat câteva texte în revista Extemporal Liric, înscrisă la Biblioteca Națională a României.
